As a community interest company, we rely on our community
You may have already read (here) that our voluntary projects are a significant part of what we do, this is because we wholeheartedly believe in accessible support for families and early intervention for children’s mental health, shouldn’t be based on funding.
Below, you can find more information on ways you can currently support the work we do. We are always looking for organisations, businesses and individuals to collaborate with and bring our community projects to life. Whether you can provide a space, a service, sponsorship, volunteers, donations or resources, we would love to hear from you.
We heavily rely on your word of mouth, support and resource donations to keep our community work going.
NEW: SUMMER SAVIOUR APPEAL 2025
MULTIPLE EVENTS
We have just started the final term of the academic year… it means one thing: summer is coming.
I know that summer holidays are challenging for those facing both the cost of living and mental health crisis.
WE NEED YOUR HELP.
Can you run a football card for us?
Would you like to take part in a sponsored walk (dates coming soon)?
Would you like to run your own sponsor event?
Last year, the money raised allowed us to provide a day out at Craigies Farm, an outdoor and pony event at Oatridge College with Kids Gone Wild and Lunar Eclipse, a Paint and Sip experience at Panda Ceramics and a breathwork session with Siren Somatics.
If you know of any businesses, third sector organisations or venues who would like to collaborate or donate services for our Summer activities, please get in touch.
All donations can be made here.

SUMMER HOLIDAYS 2024 | MULTIPLE EVENTS
For some families, the summer holidays can cause overwhelm and stress. Activities with a cost are a “luxury” and not a “necessity” for many. We wanted to raise the cost of taking our families on outings & organise a treat for our Mummy Minds.
HOW IT WENT
We held a sponsored walk, a BHLM resource raffle, and families sold football cards for us, with all donations going through a Just Giving Account. We raised £1,160.80(!); here’s how we spent it:
20 children and their caregivers went to Craigies Farm, in South Queensferry. We arranged for them to have lunch, play in the indoor/outdoor area, do fruit picking, meet the animals & get a private talk about them. This also included travel for two families. We sent Five Sisters Zoo vouchers to one of our families who we knew were unable to make any of the events, and when a family had to cancel on this event day, Let’s Rock The Spectrum stepped in to provide a week pass for them.
19 children and their caregivers went to SRUC at Oatridge College for “Ponies & Picnics.” We had an outdoor educator from Kids Gone Wild provide outdoor experiences such as zip lining & hammocks; Lunar Eclipse Equestrian Facilitated Learning provided two ponies for the children to walk and groom; and we provided a picnic.
10 Mummy’s from our Mummy Mind groups went to Panda Ceramics for a “Paint & Sip” experience. We had food delivered & cocktails afterwards.
The final treat for our Mummy Minds is with a breathwork facilitator, Lacy McNee at Choose You Yoga.
Thank you to everyone who made these events possible.
We cannot wait to go bigger and better in 2025.
Winter well-being appeal 2024
Aerial adventures soft Play & Christmas
Getting out over the winter months is a necessity for mental health, we ran our 2nd WWA to ensure families did not stay at home, AND we threw two AFFORDABLE Christmas events.
How it went:
We covered a whopping 75 sessions at Aerial Adventures. Donations covered the cost of soft play entry, a coffee and a cake for one adult and child = £5 throughout January & February.
We ran two Christmas events in collaboration with Caterpillar Music (West Lothian), providing snacks, all at no extra costs to families.
Thank you to everyone who donated, shared, commented, collaborated. We met some incredible families doing this appeal and look forward to meeting many more.
resource donations
As part of our voluntary projects providing 1-1 emotional and cognitive support in schools, we are always looking for resources to help facilitate activities and learning opportunities with our children and young people.
